Introducing Apache Stanbol Reasoning Services

Data represented in RDF can benefit from the usage of inference engines which can exploit the semantics of the vocabularies used to generate new statements, and thus new knowledge. Vocabularies can describe specific symbols by the means of RDFS and OWL to benefit from automatic reasoning systems. IKS Semantics UX Contest Results

The IKS Semantics UX Contest attracted 18 eligible proposals for evaluation. Participants in the first phase of evaluation were asked to submit a proposal (on average 20 pages) to demonstrate benefits to an end user group, by making significant use of IKS technology. Nuxeo (IKS partner) was last week busy dazzling their community at Nuxeo World 20-21 October 2011 in Paris, France.
