Semantic UI Development with VIE

Before John Resig released the first version of jQuery in 2006, the development of web-applications was a complicated process. Developers cooked their own recipe to face cross-browser support for Javascript implementations and interoperability was hardly manageable. Liip AG with their proposal of a Semantic Editor, and InsideOut 10 with their WordLift 2.0 module for semantic search and navigation, were elected for the top 2 positions in the IKS UX Contest. The decision was made by the jury of Wernher Behrendt (IKS project lead), Sandro Groganz (Age of Peers) and Janus Boye (J.Boye), and was affirmed by the votes of the 60+ Web and Intranet professionals in the audience.
